Electrical energy

Current is the rate of flow of electrical charge.
Voltage is a measure of the energy of that charge.
The potential difference (p.d) between two points in a circuit is 1V if 1J of electrical energy is changed to other forms when 1C passes from one point to the other.
Energy (joules) = voltage x charge = voltage x current x time
Joules= volts x coulombs
Volts = joules per coulomb
